The programme closes its inaugural edition after several months of strategic consultancy and public funding support for participating health ventures
IGNITE Health concluded its first edition during Health Tech Forward 2025, held at the Palau de Congressos de Barcelona on 3 and 4 December. The session gave the participating companies and programme partners an opportunity to look back at the work completed during the cohort and the progress made since its launch.
IGNITE Health was launched in 2025 by Inveniam Group, 2B Labs and venture capital firm 3xP Global. The programme was created to support early-stage health companies as they prepare to enter the market. Its approach combines strategic consultancy with individual mentoring and access to experts who understand the challenges involved in developing a health venture.

Preparing health ventures for the market
During the programme, each company received tailored support based on its stage of development and market-readiness needs. The process began with an assessment of the gaps in its business plan and market strategy. This helped establish a tailored plan for the months ahead.
Participants reviewed their market positioning and refined their business models. They also developed their go-to-market plans and prepared materials for future discussions with investors. Public funding formed another part of the programme, with support to identify suitable opportunities and prepare an initial application.
Mentors and external experts accompanied the companies throughout this process. Their role was to support practical decision-making and help connect technical development with the commercial conditions required for market entry.

The closing event at Health Tech Forward
The closing session began with a talk by Josep Carbó de Cala, digital health strategist and co-founder of Barcelona Health Hub. It also provided an opportunity to recognise the mentors, experts and partners who had contributed to the programme throughout its first edition.
Health Tech Forward also introduced the Next Generation Healthcare Award, a new category created with 3xP Global, 2B Labs and Inveniam Group. The award went to Healsens, whose platform uses personalised screenings, risk analysis and biological age tracking to help people and healthcare professionals identify chronic disease risks earlier.
As the winner, Healsens gained direct access to the IGNITE investment committee, which offers €200,000 in guaranteed investment and 24 months of go-to-market acceleration to support expansion across Europe.
The session concluded the intensive phase of IGNITE Health’s first cohort. Selected companies then moved into a 12-month implementation period, with continued support as they applied the work developed during the programme and worked to gain or strengthen market traction.
Beyond the first cohort
As selected companies moved into implementation, IGNITE Health continued with new editions, each supporting a new group of digital health ventures according to its stage of development and route to market.
