GLACERHUB Project
GlaCerHub is a Horizon Europe-funded innovation project creating a cross-border ecosystem for advanced glass and ceramic technologies in Slovakia and the Czech Republic. Led by a consortium of universities, research centers, industry partners, and innovation agencies, the initiative aims to accelerate technology transfer, commercialization, and collaboration between academia and industry. The project focuses on functional and surface-engineered glass and ceramic materials for applications in aerospace, automotive, healthcare, sustainable construction, and energy. GlaCerHub also supports talent development, spin-offs, patent generation, and specialized training programs, with the long-term goal of becoming a self-sustaining European center of excellence in advanced materials innovation.
