H2SITE Project
H2SITE is developing a modular, autonomous ammonia cracking system that enables carbon-neutral hydrogen production at the point of use. The solution combines a patented palladium-alloy membrane reactor with an ammonia burner that supplies the heat required for decomposition. Unlike conventional systems, ammonia cracking and hydrogen separation occur in a single step at approximately 450°C, reducing energy consumption, equipment complexity and material degradation. Its value proposition lies in delivering high-purity hydrogen with over 99.9% ammonia conversion, lower fuel consumption, reduced CAPEX and OPEX, minimal maintenance, and more than 95% lower emissions, while offering scalability for industrial, port and maritime applications globally.

Inveniam supported H2SITE in the preparation of its EIC Accelerator Open application. Our work involved structuring the funding strategy, conducting a business and market feasibility analysis, refining the value proposition, consolidating the marketing and expansion strategy, and coordinating the preparation of the proposal.
