ZEBRA-LIFE Project
ZEBRA-LIFE is coordinated by CENER and addresses two important problems: waste production by the pulp and paper industry and the environmental and health impacts caused by the production and use of synthetic additives in multiple industrial products.
The technology (lignin depolymerizations + downstream formulisation) enables paper mills to valorise their black liquor by-product in the form of a natural antioxidant( AOx) and UV filter product to create a new circular value chain.

ZEBRA-LIFE and
Inveniam
Inveniam is supporting ZEBRA’s project management, leading its communication and dissemination of project results as well as all social media content, throughout the project timeline and after its completion. Moreover, dissemination activities focus across diverse industry groups such as academia, social and research.
Inveniam also oversees the project’s environmental impact, its business model monitoring and exploitation strategy. Additionally, it carries out a techno-economic analysis of the different products and their applications, understanding the different users’ willingness to pay and return on investment for producing or buying ZEBRA-LIFE products.
